Your keys, your responsibility
Jaxx Liberty was non-custodial: users held their own recovery phrase rather than asking a company to reset a password. That offered independence, and it also meant a phrase had to be protected with care.
A considered guide to a retired wallet
Jaxx Liberty Wallet was once a familiar way to view and manage multiple digital assets from one place. Today, the service has been retired. This independent guide shares useful historical context, explains what that status means, and points you toward original project information—with your security kept firmly in focus.
Jaxx Liberty launched as a non-custodial, multi-asset wallet from Decentral. It brought portfolio balances and common wallet actions into one interface, while leaving control of recovery information with each user. For many, that combination made it a practical introduction to managing digital assets across supported networks.
That history matters, but it is not a promise of present-day access. Decentral retired Jaxx Liberty on March 27, 2023. The app is no longer an operating wallet service, and its former online features should not be relied on for current balances, transactions, or assistance. A page that uses the old name is not, by that fact alone, an official download or support channel.
Non-custodial describes who controlled the credentials; it does not mean software will remain maintained, every asset will be supported forever, or that a wallet is immune to risk. Keep those ideas separate when reading older product descriptions. A tool can have been useful in its day and still be unsuitable for new activity now.
A useful distinction
This page is an independent reference—not an official Jaxx website, wallet download, or support desk.
Understanding the wallet’s original model helps explain why careful custody still matters, even after an app is gone.

The interface helped people see supported assets together. A wallet display is only a view into blockchain information, however; it does not make a retired application reliable or replace independent verification.
When a service is sunset, software support and connected features may stop. Treat old balances, downloads, and migration advice with caution, and confirm important steps through trustworthy, current sources.
Anyone who obtains a wallet recovery phrase may be able to control the associated funds. Never share yours with a person claiming to be support, and never type it into a website, message, or online form to “check,” unlock, or migrate a wallet. Legitimate support teams do not need you to send them secret credentials.
If you already have an old wallet installed, consult trusted guidance before taking action. Do not uninstall software or expose sensitive information based solely on advice from an unfamiliar page. This guide cannot recover funds or verify a wallet for you.
